Mr. YiannisTheotokas is Professor of Maritime Business Administration, Chairman of the Department of Maritime Studies, Director of the Inter-Institutional Postgraduate Program “Management in Maritime Science and Technology” and Director of the Laboratory of Maritime Economics, Management and Maritime Accidents.
Mr. Constantinos Chlomoudis is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Piraeus, with a scientific subject of Port Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics, University of Macedonia, 1991 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Mr. Petros Pallis is an Associate Professor at the University of the Aegean, in the Department of Shipping, Trade and Transport, as well as a Member of the Teaching Staff at the Hellenic Open University, in the Postgraduate Program in Supply Chain Management (SCM). He has also taught for more than three years at the Maritime Department of the University of Piraeus, as well as for one year at the Department of Port and Shipping Management of the National University of Athens.
Mr. Christos Lampridis is an economist and works as a consultant and researcher on issues of Shipping, Port Policy and Administration. He belongs to the executive staff of the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Affairs while he has served as Secretary General of Ports, Port Policy and Maritime Investments of the Ministry.
Mr. TheodorosStyliadis is an Associate Lecturer at the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, specializing in port & maritime economics.
He holds a PhD from the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, a Master's degree (MSc) in Maritime Economics & Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in International and European Economic Relations from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
Mr. Kriton Valleras is a scientific associate in port planning and policy. He began his professional career as a nuclear engineer (B.Sc., Yale University, M.Sc., Columbia University) in the USA, dealing not only with technical issues but also with financial sustainability and project management in the energy sector.
Mr. Tozidis Markos is a PhD candidate at the Department of Maritime Studies, University of Piraeus, specializing in the best port concession contracts and good practice in the port industry.
Mrs. Virginia Zarakeli is a PhD candidate at the Department of Maritime Studies, University of Piraeus, specializing in the impacts of the European Green Deal on the port industry and related activities.
